a mate with an NGECO has replaced batteries numerous time.

The ngeco uses a difficult to find and expensive CR2450N button battery, that easily does >2000km.

You can use cheap CR2032 cells, but they aren’t the right spec and don’t last.

 Just my experience.

They’re also the wrong size so don’t fit in the battery bay.

I pay R50 for one CR2450 from a camera store oer year. That’s how long they’ve lasted for me

Looking at ordering one of these soon. Any new comments on accuracy and durability specially on MTB?

So far comments look very positive on these.

Just got myself one, not fitted yet so I can't comment on accuracy etc.

But kudos to the team at https://sigeyi.co.za/

Order paid 08:38 on 4 May 2023, delivered to my door at 12:08 on 5 May 2023.

I got them to fit the chainring and I reckon the weight is very respectable.

The battery lasts a very long time if its a good quality battery. I put one in in mid to late 2020. Just replaced it this past week. And yes, I do ride the bike a few thousand kms a year. And you can get decent Litium ones for just under R20 a pop.
