The ngeco uses a difficult to find and expensive CR2450N button battery, that easily does >2000km. You can use cheap CR2032 cells, but they aren’t the right spec and don’t last. Just my experience. I pay R50 for one CR2450 from a camera store oer year. That’s how long they’ve lasted for me

Be4dawn Posted April 10, 2023 Share Looking at ordering one of these soon. Any new comments on accuracy and durability specially on MTB? So far comments look very positive on these.
fanievb Posted May 5, 2023 Share Just got myself one, not fitted yet so I can't comment on accuracy etc. But kudos to the team at https://sigeyi.co.za/ Order paid 08:38 on 4 May 2023, delivered to my door at 12:08 on 5 May 2023. I got them to fit the chainring and I reckon the weight is very respectable. And yes, I do ride the bike a few thousand kms a year. And you can get decent Litium ones for just under R20 a pop.
