Suspect it was just the sizing that's being referred to.

The Rapide is intended for 35mm bars not the more common 31.8mm.

Possibly corrected with a shim.

Rapide sells stems for both 31.8 and 35mm bars.   I own both.

I would be suspicious of brands that feel the need to copy established brand's corporate identity.

At least for load bearing parts like a stem... 🙂

It’s probably okay but just make sure there are no metal burrs. Particularly if you are using a carbon bar with it.

We distribute these. They are really good quality. The last of our stock was sent to Takealot. More to arrive early June.

Oh yes that might be just wanted to say I have a 31. 8 Rapide 45mm on my HT and it's done what's needed so far I have all my teeth 🤣
