I tried it again this week after whoosh had ANOTHER update and i had limited time to get on the trainer.

I like the new interface and the ERG training mode works great BUT

Does anyone know how to get rid of the menu button? it stays on the screen the whole time (with whoosh and Zwift it dissapears after a while) and cover the training graph at the bottom of the screen

I had a quick look on my Android tablet, spectating an ongoing event, and for me the menu button does disappear.

Mind you, I have not used the tablet recently to actually do a ride, I normally use the PC. So I don't know if there is something different with the training graph showing, or maybe if it is a screen size/orientation issue?

That menu button is annoyingly sticky, once it is stuck, you’re stuck with it. iOS 26

Big new update currently going out. No full changelog out yet, but lots of graphical details tweaked.

Most exciting though, is the improved GPXplore functionality.
Now the GPX routes uses "satellite-driven terrain reconstruction that mirrors the real world with striking accuracy."
