My most expensive Temu item so far. Kocevlo brand. This one has been through the 36One and Trans Baviaans. Holding up nicely.

Still happy with mine as well, I actually ordered 2 more pairs of Donen bibs. The Lycra is definitely not as thick or have the same amount of elasticity as say Ciovita but for the price you can't go wrong. Sizing for me was also the same as local brands.

Edit: Realized this morning that I have a new pair of Souke bibs as well, with the mesh pockets on the side. Their quality is pretty impressive as well but their leg legs is a fraction shorter than the Donen's, giving a double tan line 😊
Their lycra and shoulder straps also feel slightly thicker than Donen's.

Also did the 947 in a Souke bib and find the legs a little shorter than the Ciovita  I orderd another Souke bib but one size larger hope it will fit better

The reason it's the best "Gravel bike" is because it's ACTUALLY still a MTB :D

These builds are known as "Drop bar MTB's"

Personally, I think they look cool!

I'm not sure that's a word you want to be using when chatting about a carbon fork from temu

That was sharp Jono!

To get back to the fork though, I usually ride the bike with a South GX wheelset, 40c in the back and a bit wider in the front. Fork is a rigid, so one cannot expect it to be too comfy... The Baviaans would be a tad rougher than my usual travels, so I used South xc wheels, 2.2 tires with some inserts. Never measured the pressures, but it was "comfy" enough. There were several rough sections along the route this year. Inspected the bike after a decent wash and there are no indication that the fork is falling apart. Did about 4k km on it so far and happy with the quality.

Have you seen what they charge on shipping? Hold onto your hat.

WOW!, I see shipping is more than the frame set.

Yeah, I used to order off AliExpress a lot in the past but the shipping has gotten out of control. Then when your package FINALLY arrives in SA uncle SARS will be waiting for you at collection.

They have some weird way of calculating taxes, you never really know how much you're going to pay until you get there, so you cant really budget accurately.

Used this Donen for quite a while now.For the shorter rides the pad is okay, butfor rides longer than 3hrs it get irritated. Long rides i do with my Ciovita. I like the Donen for my weekday training rides, work perfect.

the Donens are not good , the pad is crap

try these or any with the pad in the pics … good for 5hr plus rides

@guidodg what size did you order? Have you tried the Hiserwa bibs? The medium Souke I bought from you fit ok (they could be a little tighter in a few spots ideally), but the sizing guides suggest I should be a L in these:
