Thule 120mm short arm (Wanted)

My thule tow bar racks locking arm seems to be stripped and cannot lock properly these arms are R850 at the agents without the lock

Is there anyway of repairing this item ? If not does anyone perhaps have one to sell, maybe off a broken rack or have spare ones lying around ?

I opened the knob and sprayed it with q20 - very basic inside, definitely worth a try.

Are you sure it’s not the head that need replacing? Had similar issue and it was the head

Take it to the Thule store. It might just be the lock and or knob they sell that separately.

Thought I would share the fix I found in case anyone else comes across the same problem

Cant believe it was such an easy 2 minute fix and the repair was "free"

Found those locks to be pretty much useless as the clamp can just be pulled off the frame and bike is gone. 

Save the money and just buy a cable lock to secure the bikes.
