I'm guessing it didn't come through these guys?

(ignore the link text, it's ibis)

They are excellent in support (personal experience with an Osprey warranty)

Adventure Inc supplied both frames via Ibis. Chris has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. He's away at the moment, so I'm in limbo until he gets back.

Even me! I'll get the bike to William after the 18th of the month and report back once the work has been done

Bike is on the way back to me. Turns out the Cane Creek lower headset cup was to blame. New one installed and fits 100% flush

I'm sure someone mentioned checking the headset cups... 😝

Glad its sorted

Yeah, it was on my to do list as well. Ibis requested it go to one of their dealers so I'm happy it was diagnosed, and it is hopefully fixed. I also just want to give a big thank you to William. He is the best example of how you run a bike shop I have ever dealt with. Communication before, during and after has been top class. Explained what he had found on the bike, how he fixed it, was super understanding and I never had to follow up once.

Ja, William OFG is a champ.

The fact that he is still actively in the workshop is why stuff works. Too many bike shops have a super knowledgeable owner who has subsequently hired guys to do the grunt work

I'm stoked its sorted though and you had a rad experience.

Sometimes it takes something like this and a chance encounter with a guy/business like William to restore a bit of faith in humanity

Williams Bike Shop is a model for how a small family bike shop should run. Darryn doesn’t just work there, he’s part of the success. He’s a big part of why the workshop is one of the the best and this leaves William to build lots of wheels. There’s heaps of trust . Will can drop everything and know that Darryn had got everything covered. That’s why I’ll drive 40 km in the wrong direction. They run a tight and solid ship.

glad you got sorted bob. 🙏🏼
