The first 70kms of full is the real brutal part of the Extreme that softens you up for the open rollers on latter part. With the half only covering the 2nd part of the Extreme i cant see it being technical at all with the terrain being significantly less brutal than the extreme. My view anyway. Anthony MTB 1

Yes it does start and finish there but the description says it to be a little more challenging than gravel roads
