Is the jacket still new? If not used then Ciovita should do a size swap. My wife has sent a few items back for a size swap with no issues.

Yes brand new. Was it the Absa Cape Epic Rider jacket that your wife sent back to swop? Not a normal jacket?

No not the Epic jacket but a few bibs and tops that were way small. Give them a shout the worst they can say is No.

the answer will be no becssue they said to me that the jackets weee ordered by the event with number of garments and sizes. Extra garments were produced and delivered to the event to cover size swaps at registration and during the prologue.

my jacket was delivered without the stuffing (storage) pocket and ciovita refused to help with one. I had to talk to the race office and they didn’t help either.

Ciovita is amazing with the returns. I have been a customer of theirs for years for this reason - great kit! However this relates to the Absa Cape Epic Rider jackets we received. I placed my order based on the size chart provided but the size of the jacket seems bigger. My partner had the same experience. We visited the race office at the event daily and were eventually told that the swop would be done later where the jacket would be posted. However it appears not to be the case. Hence this post - thought maybe there are other riders who would be interested in swopping. I have a ladies small and I am looking for a ladies XS - based on Gauteng.

Not helpful to you, but it seems most of the jackets were oversized this year. My medium is like a large, and my partner who normally wears a large would prefer a small in this sizing.

They got the sizings wrong, me and my teammate’s jackets also bigger than what it should be. Medium fits like a Large 🤨

strange, my mens Small fits like the First Ascent puffer I got from Cape Pioneer way back in 2017.

Since its an outer garment it should have a bit more internal volume to allow for the base and mid layers. How well does it fit if you have a long sleeve T or thin jumper on?

Perhaps things have changed in the last 8yrs with regards to the size of the body fitting into the jacket 😉
