Cool idea, but

The Archer D1X has been out for almost 7 years which does the exact same thing- only difference is that this NXS mounts directly to the Derailleur Cable end stop. 

The D1X mounts to the bottom of your chain stay and the cable /cable housing goes from there to the derailleur.

Archer caved about a year or two ago if I recall

I suppose many e-bikers are wondering if this system will be compatible with the SRAM Booty Link 2.0. Imagine having wireless shifting, a range extender, and eliminating the cockpit clutter on your old cable-operated e-bike.
