Hi.

Opinions please.

My 2 avid MTB boys need an indoor trainer for those rainy days when outdoor training just wont happen. We looking at the Kickr Core and Flux 2. Cant decide.

Opinions on maintenance, noise levels, service intervals, and just overall durability.

Thanks.

Core is very quiet and quite nice. I found that the Wahoo gives more accurate readings when you compare some lower level units. I will consider the wahoo but I have a core 😁. I've owned a few Wahoo as well as some Tacx and I enjoy the Wahoo. The noise level is low, maintenance is almost non-existent and I never had to service mine

Bring your laaities then they can try my coreΒ

I have a basically new garmin Flucx 2 for sale. Less than a year old. If you decide to go the Garmin route. Selling most of my mtb items due to injury.Β

Kickr core with the zwift cog and click. Works great and no adjustment of gears required when fitting different bikes on the trainer.

I really can't fault the Tacx Flux 2, mine has now done 60 000km without skipping a beat. If it was my purchase i would consider the kickr core with the zwift cog, as mentioned above, it just makes it a bit easier when having multiple bikes
