A small trick/hack that our eldest done on the bikes of the younger one, placed a small colourfull sticker om the handlebar for the rear brake. No OTB’s and easy to give instruction when we are all out on the bikes. How strange it may sound, stressfull managing all three at different speeds and skill and traffic.

It's wild out there for sure. My youngest requires someone on foot and my eldest is too fast for an adult on foot. We're making due and trying to make sure it remains fun for everyone!

Ah I remember the days of running laps around the old pump track at Wolwespruit, and my wife and I splitting up, one on foot with the youngest and the other on the bike with the oldest.

Now I need to ride hard to keep up with my oldest daughter on the DH's at Thaba

Good times, enjoy

TOP TIP ....

Maritz's FIRST bike came with the rear brake on left ... kept switching his next bikes left as well .... Then he started riding friends and rental bikes with the right side being rear brake and rear gears .... CONFUSION ....

TIP .... just make sure they ride "right = rear" from day one.

Further tip, make the brakes the same as your bike. Down the line you're going to want to ride your kids cool bikes!
