Darts isn't a sport, it's a game. Anything that's mildly competitive that you can succeed at while being overweight and a smoker isn't a sport. If cricket didn't have fast bowlers, it would also be classified as a game, like golf.

I categorically accuse the SA Jukskei team of being on designer stimulants. Its the only way they stay awake to complete the game.

This year's trend amongst the not so knowledgeable journalists seems to be "Tour de France Bashing". No doubt these are the same journalists who followed the trend of "Lance fever" a couple years ago.

These guys are just herd animals - going where the rest of the bunch takes them. Not an original idea amongst them.

Last Sunday's stage  had to be one of the most exciting stages I have ever watched (I rewatched that last climb about 5 times). Sport doesn't get better than that.

I am not big into any sport, but cycling is my pasion! Tongue So yes you do think that someone is using PED when they do what Ricco did bit I still like to be innocent and think that cycling is one of the leaders in getting rid of drugs from the sport.

I must say I thought yesterdays sprint between Burghart and Baretto was excellent, the strategy and wit that you need Ah man! I think cycling is the best, also if you look at the strategy that CSC had the day before, which other sport requires so much team effort but an individual can also have his day in the sun!

Agree fastone. Cycling success requires a combination of athletic excellence AND tact. And it doesn't favour only one body type. As you have seen in this Tour, Markus Burghardt and Sammy Dimoulion (sorry assume spelling of names isn't spot on), the tallest and shortest riders in the race both won stages. Cycling offers  proper allround human challenge. And that's just one discipline. MTB, track and BMX add even more variety...

Tact is not a pre-requisite... Ask the Tashkent Terror...

First time I ever watched full stages of TDF this week, got fluDead.. and as a novice in the sport I can say only this; It was the most exiting and involved action I have seen in a long long time! No matter what the hype about who was left out and all the drugs, I loved every minute of it and in my mind John Lee an Robbie are now the top atheletes this country posess! Vive Le TourClap

Right on! Yesterday's stage was a prime example. The fight for the stage win was awesome, all those attacks. It still amazes me how they have the legs for a sprint after so many hours in the saddle.
