Not a particular big fan of technical stuff on gravel races but that jeeptrack next to railway wasn't too bad...

Rode that road from Delico to town a few weeks back and it was rutty as hell, think its quite a busy road, but maybe the ruts would have softened up a bit with all the rains...

Rutty and sandy. And after the last few days of rain i think all off the roads are in a poor condition.

Yeah I saw that, sorry read the post as a sarcastic chirp…. But I’m glad to see it’s not more technical.

It seems, as with Gallows too, many “gravel” races are evolving back to old school MTB races.

That section from the railway crossing to Delico SUCKS!! We rode it last weekend. That being said, all roads to Delico suck because of the daily truck traffic they get. 

We rode about 70% of the 88km route's gravel sections. Maybe 25km was lekker gravel, the rest was corrugations and sandy.
