I see the 94.7 is now 95.4kms so Highveld just have to change their frequency and everything will be straight.

 

Does anyone know the ascent in metres on this race - old route will do, you don't need to get down to Maxwell Rd with a theodolite to check the last km!

I meassured 1145 last year.   Don't know how much erossion there was during the last year

Thyolo, Theodolite is correct - it's "spellt" where you have the spelling problem!

Worry about the altitude, you'll know when it's effecting you, a nice burning sensation coming from your lungs, and that dead feeling in your legs.... enjoy

So 94.7 is same ascent (+/- 1,150 mtrs) as Amashova but 10kms shorter - that would be the fast 10kms downhill to the sea, unfortunately.

the final drag beyond the old entrance from kyalami to Maxwell drive (end of waterfall estate) is 2.7km and 35m ascent. depending where the exactly finish actually ends there will probably be only half that.

ALso about 40 m descent
