Hi

I am planning to buy a run-about car for my little company. Also would like to use that car on weekends to go to races/rides when the family does not come along (have a van for that). Thinking of a Yaris or Getz, etc? <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Which cars do load a bike or two easily and quick?? Not using the towbar rack but load it inside.

OR: which cars do not take a bike easily/quickly/safely inside??

Honda Jazz, if you can get the 1.5 with CVT gearbox. They are awesome!!

If not the Jazz, then a Mazda2, or if you're adventurous, get the Fiat Panda 100HP.

What about the new Corsa with built in bike rack?

Very expensive for what you get, but it does look great. For the same money I'll take the Jazz every time! You can also do real Tetris tricks with the Jazz seats, so getting a bike in without taking the wheels off is possible.

I think go have a look at a few cars.  I would go for the Honda Jazz though.  It has a slighly higher profile which I think will make loading easier.

Will give the Jazz a view. NB the new Jazz is becoming available in SA in october 2008. Like Honda products.

Methinks - i must take my bike along when i check out the cars. Nevermind what the sales agent thinks ...

Besides the higher price of the Jazz it also got the price tag to go with that . AWesome little car though . Have you looked at getting a small Hummer rather .

Eish, am not a Hummer fan. I am just too practical. A car must work for its money; Image/Looks/Status is just not enough.

Have to agree with Tjokkits.  I actually forgot about the Caddy.  I was amazed with the amount of space that little car has.  Lots of choices on the market.

Is that the new "Thule" type of pull-out bike stand build into the car? Does it work, is it available in SA, how much??

Got a Nissan Tiida rental in snot green, takes 2 bikes easily and very light on fuel. Apparently not too popular with hijackers either.
