I thought that the problem was a lack of tyres. why is the BB in the wrong place, surely it is like a recumbant where the position of the crank has no relation to the BB

I think it is that weird guy that dresses up as the devil and chase the Tour de France roadies up the mountains every year. His name is Didi Senft if I recall correctly. He makes these weird bikes as a hobby. There was a picture in one of the recent local magazines where he showed off a guitar bike. Weird. He is obviously not married, got too much time on his hands.
