Anyone riding campy that can tell me if this is possible, can you shift in the drops, I know you should be able to shift one way, but can you do it both ways. With ShimaNO you can although it's a bit of a reach, with SRAM you have the shifting lever that pulls back. I cannot see how you would be able to reach the little thumb shifter on the inside to do a shift on campy egro's. 90% leaning towards getting campy, just wondering about this.

Never had a problem shifting in the drops up or down, but I have pretty long fingers.  Centaur does look like good value this year.  Comment on the other thread that this year Centaur internals are like Veloce as opposed to Chorus doesn't really make sense as all 10sp - Veloce through to Record have the same internals in their shifters but different materials are used.  Shifting should feel pretty similar throughout the range.

I have small hands and it is just a matter of reaching up with your thumb and shifting - easy and solid shifting all the time. I also find the hoods more comfortable than shimaNO, but each to his own I guess.
