Now I'll never recognise you with the amended bike

PS

Lose the tyres and handle bar tape. You'll get it below 6.5kg Wink

Change the Brake pads' date=' mate.  You are going to brake and just feel them fade. [/quote']

Thanks, I've got carbon-specific blocks, but I just put the wheels on for the photo's.

Awesome indeed!

How does it feel?

Well, setting it up was a nightmare! If the derailleur bolts or clamps weren't facing 3 degrees east of magnetic north, it DIDNT work!

But once it was all figured out, and the cables clamped, no adjustments were needed - IT JUST WORKED! The tension in the cables feels high, partly do to the seriosly strong derailleur springs.

The shifts fire off like a gun, seriously loud CRACK, but are really fast.

The front derailleur is easy to operate, but the rear will take some getting used to, cant tell yet, if I'm going up or down...

The red is very nice, if you like settling for second best. My rig has Italian blood through it's vains - Super record 11 speed, Bora G3 tubby wheelset.

Funny thing is... This bike started out with Campag Record!

Then Shimano, Now SRAM.

Your bike sounds good, you should post a pic in the photo section.
