What makes a glove good or comfy for you? <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />


My hands go numb and I hate it!  Bought some expensive Specialized gloves that were recommended by LBS, but my hands still goes numb ? Ermm

not sure of the exact reason but i do know that it has something to do with the set up of the bike and your posture.....maybe someone else can give more info

As far as I know numbness is caused by lack of circulation caused by pressure

 

I get it on my road bike but not on the mtb

My reasoning is that on the mtb you are constantly in and out of the saddle,changing hand or body positions,etc.

I try and move around on the road bike a bit and it seems to have helped

There's a nerve that runs from your arm into your hand, think its called the ulna something-or-the-other, anyways if your bar is set at the wrong angle or you ride with your hands in the same position for too long there'll be too much pressure on said nerve and your hands go numb or tingly

Cyclogel gloves have great gel padding and cost less than R200. Available in colours from Olympic Cylces in CT & some Sportsmans Warehouse branches. Snotwipe included.
