What about bio-oil?

No oil of any kind is going to 'warm up' the muscles. It might make your skin 'feel warm'. So if you want to shine, or tan, or smell rubbed in -- you have plenty to chose from what everybody has posted here. Bio oil is another (expensive) alternative, but as with the others - there is no magic 'warm up of muscle' effect. Warm up your muscles as Auction Lamb suggested - that works!

I'll sponsor any rub up or downs to any women who need it at the next race..... Big%20smile

Careful, you might rub them up the wrong way. Or you might end up with one one who shouts at you to hold your line.

Ask OB?

2 years ago at the Bakwena Classic' date=' Alex Pavlov and I were heading to the start. OB asks if we had anything he could use to rub on his legs. We didn't so he rolled over to the Konica car and asks the same question. "No" came the reply "we only have Q20 spray". OB took the can and sprayed it on his legs. CLASSIC STUFF!!!

And now you know where the horse steroids and brake fluid jokes come from...

What about 3 in 1 then?

Belgium Knee Warmers Defined

For many professional cyclists the Spring campaign is the toughest of

the season; it means training from October until March in the worst,

character-building weather conditions Europe can dish out. This weather

and the suffering that is bicycle racing breed characters known as

"hardmen".

Select

cyclists tackle these conditions in shorts, long sleeve jerseys or

short sleeve jerseys with arm warmers, wind vests, and shoe covers. A

true hardman opts to forego the knee or leg warmers and instead chooses

an embrocation to cover the knees. The liniment provides warmth for the

legs and keeps the blood circulating and muscles supple. Embrocation

and the sheen created is affectionately known as "Belgium knee

warmers". The hardest of cyclists will sport bare legs in the most

ruthless of conditions.

Belgium Knee Warmers are indicitive of the many subtleties that make professional cycling so enthralling.
