Schedule of upcoming rides:

 

Sat 13 June 2009. Long loop with usual suspects and Agteros. Departure from Xumbugs, 07h30.

Sun 14 June 2009. Short loop (recovery ride).

Tue 16 Jun 2009, Fountains Race with Agteros.

Sat 20 Jun 2009, SBRNR, Ride with Delgado and water bottle twins. (AKA, the Colnago trio.) Slave in attendance.

Sat 27 Jun 2009, Wild West ride (AKA getting Klapped up KDP hill by Thug.)

 

Ox, pick a weekend you can do SBR. The Colnago trio will be there every weekend until the Jock.

Yeah, I agree Trubes, but the issues here are that we plan a ride and it gets burried in heaps of chit chat. (About cycling I agree so on topic, but to go back and look for the dates, times route etc becomes a mission.)

The idea here is to post only the ride details and we can chat about all the other stuff in Chit chat where that sort of thing belongs. It was fine when we chat about the arrangements specifically,but that's not really happening any more.

Wonder Woman had a blow out, and Slave decided to fall back to show of his wonderfully polished shining armour. All was OK though. His 39 tooth chain ring did not shine as much as the rest of his armour, so he replaced that immediately when he got home with his 42 teethed monster

After the white night puncture fix, Slave was with Cruzer, me and WW.

He went straight at circus though....

Yeah, was really cool meeting you guys. (Ms and C). That blowout WW had was massive, Slashed her tyre and I learned a new way to spend money. Put it inside your tyre as a tyre liner. It was a flipping convenient excuse to stop and rest seeing as I was near death trying to climb that hill. The rest of them were equally painful.

 

So WW. Strange as it may sound that blowout you had was very well timed for me and a definite life saver. Thanks.

 

That ride was pure agony. Nothing diluted.

Hey Slave, thanks for all the help, again, much, much appreciated.

 

Let me tell you, instead of using a foot pump, just call slave, wow, he pumped that wheel hard with that hand pump, VERY impressive

 

We all have days like that when there's nothing in the tank....so don't worry. Hope you recovered and ready to dish out some pain again
