Told you, my stats say I am slow, and yesterday was just proof of that.

I got dropped. Seriously. Time to go back to the nursery and lie on the porch with the puppies.

Think i need to revise my 94.7 time to 3 days but no way I am going to let you beat me. Or the one legged dog either.

You're way too smart for this time on a Monday.

I woke up with a stuffy nose and still feel like I may have a cold lurking in the background. That may have had something to do with it, but I still say it was the speed. The lowest speed they did was 41 going up the little climbs along the route.  For the rest of the time it was somewhere between 45 and 48 and they only got faster and faster along the loop.

The climb from the bend to the bridge is deceptive and I really struggled at the speed they were doing. Got my slowpoke @ss dropped heavily.

PerhapsI need to chat to the good doctor and see what he recommends I try.

Hey yourself lad. Good to see you again on the weekend on that beautiful retor bike of yours.

Really dig that colour and the bike itself is in very good nick.

I saw Parys Dirtmax mentioned here a couple of times and wondered if anyone knew where we could see some results??? Awesome riding by the way. Always sad to see small turnouts at these events BUT perhaps a blessing as well. I only had to slow down once for a 10 year old and had no issue doing it. This laitie will most certainly overtake me in one of these years smiley9.gif

predictor welcome to the thread. Unfortunately most of the peeps here ride on thin tyres...

I've done a MTB duathlon on the Dirtmax MTB course and the cycling was BE-A-UTI-FUL!

A pity it is a leetle bit out of the way, but definitely to be recommended for the sheer MTB experience!

Have no idea about the results for the series.. maybe try and contact the organisers: Andreas Botha / Philip Basson 082 300 8452

Hey Kid. That second magnet really does the business.

Rode a flat recovery ride yesterday when I got home from work. Went to the Lido and back. Distance 35 ks, ave speed 32.7. Awesome ride and really enjoyed it.

Then this morning I commuted to the office again. Had some fun with some "commuter" who was riding a pretty vrot MTB. He chased me all the way along Swartkoppies. I could see his shaddow with those legs of his pumping. At Vermooten he got ahead of me by sneaking the traffic light.

Could see he was really working to stay ahead of me to Hennie Alberts. When we finally got past all the traffic lights, he was behind me again and chasing hard. So I just put in a tiny little acceleration and rode him off my wheel. Little bit of cummuting fun.

It was a cr@p ride though and took six minutes longer to get here today than it did Friday.

Suppose that I also took it a bit easier seeing as though I rode hard yesterday.

Have an awesome day.

Hey AgterOs,

As cycling goes I swing all ways

I own a couple of cycles wich include MTB, Road and of course TT.

I like the MTB in SBR as it builds some real good stamina but nothing like a loooong ride on the TT.

Of course nothing better that a real group ride in the 94.7 and others.

Looking forward to some real good reading
