Ha Ha Kieran Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Shweet! I'm there like a bear after my Hub ride at the Reserve has crashed and burned! Got the bike back this afternoon so will grit the teeth and try my utmost to hang on after a 3 week layoff!!!

predictor Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 So what are all you nutters up to as kid would say Went and rode Harkerville this morning again but this time my rythm was way off, gear changes were late and the lines I rode was awefull. I pulled myself together and ended the ride in a respectable 1:38 so not a total loss. Will just have to make sure I put my MTB hat on in Atta. Humming Bird - I was woken up about 1am by the storm, and I usually sleep through most things. Went back to sleep and woke up again when my alarm went off. Looked at weather and it wasn't looking good. So decided not to risk it driving all the way out south and then it rains. As it is it took Kid an hour to clean his bike!!!!! Thanks Nancy for a great bike ride today. Most fun I have had on my MTB in a long time!
spaso9 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 hey all... saw slave yesterday at the union after my work there. he is recovering well. had his collar bone plated, and is in a sling. he is in the general ward and should be discharged today. will be a long recovery, but he will be ok. the ribs will be sore for a while... well, i'm trying to back into it now, knee doing ok. have been on stationary bike just spinning, planning to get on the road this week, and group ride on sat and sunday..
