Is it just me or has there been a loss of interest in this thread? The Hub seems really 'dull' lately. Me thinks it needs a sex scandal' date=' or a 'Lance' debate again!

How's the showdown between Indigo Kid and Mandy shaping up? Is it going to happen? Will there be drug testing?

And I'm off to Taipei next month for the bike show. Should be cool, and hopefully I'll bring some wicked cool new stuff back! (heated handlebar tape Trubie?)

 

Got some big things planned, but sometimes I wonder if my enthusiasm is a little too grand. I'll be having some winter criteriums from Aspen to keep us fit and excited through winter.

 

Maybe some small road race's as well if I can get permission. But, if you have any ideas you'd like to share I'd be happy to try and put them on.

 

As for me training wise, its all go go go for worlds a little later this year. Bit daunting, but nice to have something to focus on. Got plenty miles in my legs over Xmas, so I hope they'll pay off on the track later in the year.

Think with Slave focussing his daytime energies where it is meant (working), like I'm trying as well it might be a tad quieter here. To top all of that he managed to get himself out of the cycling thingy by braking some bones...

Owl, you seem to be going through a hectic time. Good luck and yes, would love some winter stuff from Tapei.

Dont have more space in the cockpit with the Sigma light, I-bike and my hands, so to get that tape warm, I would need another battery, so I'll pass on that. Some nice winter gloves that actually work, would be nice and a thin warm winters jacket def too.

 

As for what I need at the mo - a new bracket for my Sigma light....

 

With Argus just 4.5 weeks away, the training seems to be falling in place nicely, but I'll only really believe it after R4S. If it goes as well as Emp, then I'll be convinced a sub 3 is on the cards.

 

Better be cause I dont plan on going down for Argus again next year. But if I fail, I'll have no choice.

 

Keen on those crits, even if its just for the experience.

Well, my wonderfull landlords are capable of screwing anything up! 6weeks past inception date and I'm still waiting for power points, locks and a decent wall job.

Don't moan about your landlord, somebody I know warned you.

This is just the warm up, wait until your landlord wants monthly royalty payments (and yes it is in the lease agreement even if you can't see it).

 

If you want I can go to Taipei in your place, I know you have a lot on your hands at this stage and going to Taipei would be a huge distraction for you

 

Mandy bought me a smoothy the other day and we came to an agreement, just waiting for the jury.

But since then we've had a referendum and Mandy was on his own so we will be having a show down in April.

Drugs will probably be taken but there is no need to worry as Inspector Nancy Drew will be on hand to make sure the result is conclusive.

(BTW I think GO3 would love to be there, it's your kind of thing - trust me)

I'm going to accept your offer to help Humming Bird, had a look at his stats and he's managing 31km/h but I know that with your expertise you'll easily torture him to 35km/h.

It is precisely because people accept it and that bans are too lenient that drugs have become par for the course in cycling!! If people started doing something about it then maybe the problem would be much less! Criminalise doping, give harsher and longer bans and maybe the problem would not be such a problem.

Kid didn't ride the Fast One. What is his name? Humming Bird didn't ride the Fast One. What is his name? Based on my goals (cycling ones and more important non-cycling ones) the better judgment was not to ride the Fast One! I do not see why I should get persecuted for that decision.

No i don't think so. There was a 10 500% chance i was going to land on the tar again.Considering that as of yet i cannot drive Kid's choice was semi stuck too.

 

 

 

GO, Those TT were suppose to happen eventually, but i suppose now sooner then later as that sponsorship opportunity sounds like quiet an awesome opportunity!

 

Never went past the shop today, came home early to recover from this approaching sinus attack. I'm assuming still no progress has been made. You should suggest a hub ride for that weekend you'll end up moving in and get all these characters to help with your shop! Think smart!

Yes, and mine was that I did not think that the increased risk of landing on the tar was worth it. So just because I didn't land on the tar a few weeks prior, does it make it any different?
