Greg Minnar will be riding in the Cape Town Grand Prix Track event on Tuesday 16 Dec 2008 at the Bellville Velodrome .

 

He will be riding a track bike . In the interval he is going to ride down the banking with his MTB .

guys dont be so quick to judge that greg cant ride hahahaha he put me away going up a hill in barbeton this year and i am a lightweight hehehe

 

 

 

i wish i could see the dude in action on the track i think he will put a few specialists away!!!!

i dont know the exact degree at its steepest point but i dont think it would be easy, ive heard greg is more than capable but going down should be a walk in the park for him

Greg also just did the Roof of Africa motorbike enduro. Finished 19th overall and 5th in the 200cc category. It was four stages in two days up in Lesotho. His finishing time was almost 22 hours! Said it was the hardest thing he's ever done. Said it was harder than the Cape Epic he finished, but he used the mental toughness he gained at that Epic to help pull him through at 'The Roof'. I like his spirit.

I rode around Greg at that Epic, and we often ended up chatting. What a nice guy. And boy can he climb! Seeing him in action on the downhills was amazing. I didn't know people could handle bikes like that.
