markStockton Posted December 24, 2008 Share One of the huge benefits to running tubeless is running the tyre at low pressure so that it folds over rock and roots etc giving a much firmer foot print and more comfortable ride. This feature makes climbing rocky sections much, much better. Â Pumping the tyre hard defeats this completely. As far as I'm concerned you should just run your tubeless hard enough to avoid burping and learn to live with and appreciate the squishy feel on hard surfaces. Â Thats my 2 cents anyway. Master216 Posted December 24, 2008 Share Other thing you should be careful of is denting your rim when running low pressures......so it must be just hard enough to escape it reaching your rim when going over roots etc....otherwise that loose feeling in your tyres is the good grippy stuff that makes you corner like a demon!!!
