IMO, reward jersey's are out. Official Yellow, Pink, Polka Dot, Green, Rainbow etc...

All the rest are great. If you want to support a team, what better way. The Kit manufacturers make their investment back from team sponsorships by selling replica kit.

Plus it's usually pretty good quality kit.

Have you seen ANY ex-pro ride around in his yellow/pink/green/white/polkadot shirt???  I think not.  If it's worth anything it's hanging on a wall with a signature on it.  Wearing it is just very sad.

The same as the overweight oompie sitting infront of his TV watching the rugby in his Springbok jersey and the millions of drunken Man U (spit) supporters that wear their shirts during each game. It's called support.

I like to wear good quality kit, some of it you just don't get over here especially for ladies.  I am almost fully kitted out in specialized gear which I got from overseas.  I make the name look bad because I'm so unfit, but I really don't care and don't see why anyone else should care what kit people are wearing.  Maybe they just like the colours of the kit or it matches their bike etc?

The specialized okes are the funniest.  everything has specialised all over it.  The bike says it 200 times, and then they still think they need to plaster themselves with specialized paraphenalia so that it says it another 200 times in case you missed it....

Who cares.  Just get on you bikes and ride it.  Just now HR would be scared out of riding with his kit and then some very unlucky people has to face him cycling only dressed in his unbranded pink boa thingy.

I have a few extra pounds :) when someone gives me riding gear to wear i think they are looking at the big picture rather than how doff i look in their kit. it costs them almost the same to make a medium shirt as it does to make a xxl shirt. this way the are getting a bigger advert for less money. I cover a fair amount of advertising space for them. (Picture the good year blimp for example.)
