and I bet most users will still opt for a Shimano front derailleur.

 

Just wondering why you say that? I have an X-Gen on my FLX team and it weks just fine .......

Personally I prefer it when my drivetrain remains quiet...

 

Seriously though, it probably looks much nicer on a bike and echos the Red gruppo look.  Nice on the right bike

Ja, why do you say that? I just put a SRAM front derailer on my Shimano-equipped MTB. Seems to work fine, although it's a bit weird where the clamp sits (middle of my bottle cage).

you must be the only one. look at all the bikes that comes out with Sram. They always have a Shimano front derailleur and cranks on.

you must be the only one. look at all the bikes that comes out with Sram. They always have a Shimano front derailleur and cranks on.


 

OK so I do admit that on my 'other' shhrram bike I do have an XT FD ........ but the X-Gen has given no problems at all!

 

 ...... and there are others (Jules and Dan for e.g. Wink)
