When I saw the 1st pics on page 1 I thought to myself I wonder if ayone landed in the drink and soon after my questions where answered.

How far was it till the end on this bridge? I would hate to ride another 2 hrs or so in wet pants.

It is under 2kms till the finish. Day 1 had a similar bridge that was at roughly 40kms in if I remember correctly. That means they would've had to ride about another 45kms with wet pants.

Also quite funny was team GT trying to hit the bridge at speed. They both landed up in the water and very sheepishly got back on their bikes.

That idiot from Jowetts got what he deserved. What the hell was he trying to prove in his attempt to push the other dude off?!?!? The crowd loved every minute of him falling off LOL

Good fun that Sani2c - I nearly bought it on the bridge on Stage 1; I was the picture of concentration on Stage 3!!

Intern, describe your kit and bike and I'll see if I've got a photo of you.

Question for you guys that was there ? the photos that were shown every night ? they did show the website of the dude ? but I can?t remember what it was.  Anybody with a good memory.

Then where do we find all the other photos or videos.  I see action photo only has a disappointing few ?

There's some on www.sani2c.co.za under Gallery. If you buy the race dvd you'll get the videos and some photos etc.

http://www.go-boy.co.za/index.php?sectionID=25 covered the Adventure if I remember correctly.

What an awesome experience!

We survived!  And enjoyed it 100%!!!

A guy in the adventure 'race' won an adventurous award (or something similar) for wheeling the lenght of one of the bridges on day 1 .  There was a long winding one and a short straight one.  The floating bridge on day 3 was later straightened by the officials after too many guys were taking a dive... but it was great fun to watch.

Just  some special mention to the eldest team on the Adventure race: Average age 78.  They finished both the first and second day, but are not too sure about day three... Does anyone know?  They weren't mentioned on Friday afternoon's prize giving.   Then the blind guy finishing the race on the tandem with his dad (or uncle)... and on day 3 I saw the cyclist with the one arm (with the racing snakes)...  My hat off to these guys!

Will also download some of my photos!  WOW, WOW, WOW... never ever had so much single track... WOW...
