now I'm confused. When I used to work at a retail store we worked it out at nett +vat + % = retail. IDK.

Not sure how your math works but eg: R100 + vat + 50% = R171. Whereas R100 + vat + 70% = R199.50. ???

thats markup...

OK. whats the maths equation to work out the above figures' date=' just so I know the dif between margin and markup.

[/quote']

markup is cost + %

margin is profit as a % of selling..

so a 50% markup = 33% margin

most shops work with the margin formula and express everything in terms of margin, rather than in terms of markup

Andrew Mclean is a poephol. Supercycling is just boosted him further at cycle lab. This is so not right. Nothing wrong with Chain Reaction Cycles. Global trade is chaning. Why must i buy a Apple Mac in Sa for R14000 when i can get in on the net for R4500. Big stores and shopping mall are going to close down one day

Nancy have you tried to do the eyebrow thing AM does?

I have a couple times. My fiance for one looks at me and says i look like a P%#S.

Plus it really hurts after doing it for like 20 secs - imagine doing it for an hour. Big up to AM, he must have a high pain threshold.

I've tried, I can't do an hour though.. I'm scared I might pull a muscle in my forehead and then I'd be walking around with a droopy eye... not very flattering...

guess his eyebrows are as strong as his quads Thumbs%20Up
