RodTi Posted February 21, 2007 Share The nose does lift everynow and then - now that you mention it... And those handlebars are riser's - not flat... I had a flat bar on that I was quite comfortable with - maybe I should revert... Will have a look at that, thanks Buff!

GoLefty!! Posted February 22, 2007 Share I was a very keen promoter of the on-line bike set up. That is until I went to see a professional. The on-line systems are ok for getting a saddle height to within 2% but it's not a hard and fast rule. More important is the reach measurement and this is where they all fall flat.Typically they will give you a reach measurement that too long. This is ok for a young rubbery boned teenager or Pro racer but for most people it's just too long. After the Pro set me up, the numb finger and numb toe syndrome has disappeared an thats thanks to a not dramatically more upright position (1.5cm extra height on the bars) but also a shorter reach. I feel like I am making more power and feel less fatigued after the last two rides. if possible, it would be a great investment to visit someone who specializes in Biomechanics for your set up. In cape town, Sport Science Institute is brilliant.
