Road bling should either be subtle (colour co ordinated saddle, tyres and or Hudz) or whole scale including custom anodized brake calipers, custom frame and the whole bolt kit) See Pantani's cervelo. Mountain bike bling - there are no rules. Those were chucked out the window when purple anodized components became available.
