I really like this! IIRC' date=' they came on Gary Fisher's. Do they still? Anyone have one lying around? I added a front brake to mine, and changed the Axel to a Sid Race (an old one... gotta love freebies!)[/quote']

They did, but not anymore... speak to Jared from BMC, I think I saw one there not too long ago.

Took the new stick for a spin up the mountain yesterday. I think I need to learn how to ride a bike again. 5.5" of travel has made me lazy... nevermind the gears.

Try Hutchinson Pythons "tubeless" ready. I'm running them on my Scandal.

I've got Exiwolf's on my SS that I've converted and haven't had a problem. What pressure are you running them at ?

Sorry about the 1x9 setup at the moment but it will be going back to SS soon.

Just got back from the UK' date=' had this delivered to some family over there before I went

Is that the Carbon Steerer or the Aluminium Steerer model? If the Carbon, check out this thread on MTBR http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=555457

GOt the Aluminium steerer, but thanks for posting the link.

Anyone know of any good tubeless 29" tires? Would love something robust like a Nevegal' date=' but don't think Kenda do that. Checked on CRC and didn't find any tubeless 29" tyres. My WTB Exiwolf's keep popping off with the tubeless setup - and no I'm not going to ride at a higher pressure. [/quote']

Two of my mates are running non-UST Nevegals as Tubeless with no problems so far...one on 26 and one on 29er. I Ghetto'd the Exi Wolf on my 29er this weekend and it's holding pressure....haven't ridden it yet but this news about about it popping off the rim is no good...could be painful.

And I forgot my latest addition: My 24'' ultimate wheel.  It and the BC wheel (the wheel in the top photo in the front) is the simplest a cycle can get while still being ridable.  Hope it is suitable for this forum.  Should be.  all have one gear except the BC, which has none.

Sharp reply realizing chaffing is the major problem on these.  Mostly can't figure out why this is more difficult than Unicycling.

Here is a clip of how to ride one.  I'm still a beginner, so straight line is basically all I can do, but there is actually a guy on youtube who jump from one to the other.

As single speeds goes, this is as difficult as one can make it.

Rode the tracks at Rietvlei this morning on my SS. Definitely think that the 24hr will do doable on my SS.

Bring on the pain.....
