I want to sent my watch to Polar for a battery change, do anyone know what the procedure is?

Or maybe a phone number for the agents and i can give them a shout?

and if the watch's battery is flat, do i have to send the speed and cadence sensors wit etc...

THANKS in advance

Rather take it yourself to the Polar guys when they are here in CT. They should be here again with Two Oceans. You will save on courier costs.silverboy2009-04-01 01:07:55

Depends on where you are, but phone the agents directly on 011 805 1028. You need to make a booking and it takes a couple of days.

Better to take the ancillary bits with so that they can check it for you.

The alternative is to take it to your LBS - who will send it to the guys in Midrand. Same cost - just takes a bit longer as the LBS will bunch collections.

Do NOT go to a general watch repairer - Polar replaces the water seal at the back as well - so you can swim, run and ride in the rain without worries Tongue

Sometimes it pays to send all the bits (speed and cadence sensors for example). Polar will service the whole lot and sometimes even replace some item at no cost.

Sent my running watch in cause the HR was not working and the problem was with the watch as i checked the strap and foot pod on another watch. But I also sent the strap and S3 (foot pod) sensor with as well.

They gave me a new watch housing, new watch strap, changed watch seals and battery, new chest strap and new foot pod.

All i paid for was the postage to them.

Viva POLAR....
