KevinV Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Damn, a hub ride missed for me! Going to the Cederberg for the weekend so I will ride there though. If you guys are keen let's make this a regular thing, I ride on the Helderberg often so maybe I know some trails that you don't (or vice versa!). Slowbee, don't stress about the steep climbs, they are short!

Normally in grouprides like this....you cater for the slowest rider as well...there is nothing to worry about. I'll make sure there is enough rest stops...just be there!

[/quote']Don't worry, I'm feeling the same. Takes me 35 minutes to cycle 6km to work - thats from Drama Street (near the Hospital) up to Heldervue (near the Spar). Don't want to take ownership of the ride (as its my first) but depending on the size of the group could possible break off into 2 if it gets hardcore for some of us. And it seems the weather is going to be great

KevinV Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I am definately keen for the next one guys. Been riding on the Helderberg for about a year and still manage to find new ways up and down. Was shown another few road by a friend yesterday.Let me know how monday's ride goes!
