I've tried so many brands its just not funny ,allways too wet or too dry now I apply the wet first then add the dry to keep the wet clean, it works like a charm this is a pic of my wet/dry winning formula.20090426_092633_28032009001.jpg

Personally I go for seal oil, but if my chainsaw is out of gas, and I can't find a suitable club, I'll use canola oil. Only for wet lube though. For dry dusty conditions, I find extra virgin olive oil from Mexico works best.
