I'll guess you're doing the 85km marathon. Expect it to only be about 74km

Tough start, nice steep climb, very enjoyable race, hope you have the legs for the end. hope it doesn't rain either...

I have done this one 3 or 4 times. It is a really good race. The hill just after the start is a bit tough but after that it is a great ride.

I heard that there was always a lot of open dirt roads in this race. That it is boring compared to what Knysna and surrounding areas have to offer. Apparently if it rains the amount of mud gets out of hand...

What a shame about the open road - Single tracks in Knysna are absolutely great. But I thinks its still a great ride, rated one of the top 5 in SA.

There are 2 tough climbs after about 5 km. DONT breakyourself here.. theres still plenty of riding left and I have to say the real funn starts at about 35km when you hit "petrus se brand" its a rad trail with a little section of sublime fast flowing singletrack at the end then after about 60km theres one more long climb before more singletrack then 2km of flat on tar and grass Dead
