Craig Calfee seems particularly adept at creating showpieces, such as this 'spider bike' made by wrapping a carbon yarn around the critical hard points. Does it work? Calfee says so, and he's even considering putting it into moderate production.

Interesting, but not pretty. I would guess it would be heavier than a normal frame. Tubes are structurally very effiecient!

I also like it... not sure I would race it, but as a decoration in my lounge it would look good!
