Sorry should of been specific' date=' Intern was on telly for about 10nano seconds. The Cape Epic 1 hour special the other night.
Did you see yourself on TV the other night?

Who?

Goldarn it! From what I have heard in an old Sheep on Drugs song, it's sposed to be 15 MINUTES of fame. The blerrie Internet generation, I tell ya, always in a hurry. They've managed to squeeze my 15 minutes of fame into a mere 10 nanoseconds.

Lucky they got my good side, huh Wink

I do not see how they can greet each other. They should not even be able to see each other. If you ride your MTB on the tar, shame on you. If you ride your road bike on the dirt, shame on you too and respect.

This thread is actually sad. Who cares who greets who?

Exactly! Who gives a sh%t who greets who. You don?t see every car driver on the road greeting each other when they drive past each other and then crying fowl when they don't. What a joke! When I?m  training my ass off and concentrating on my power numbers (however you do it) do you honestly think i have the time or even care if don't greet a fellow cyclist....... If you are that upset that other cyclists whether road or MTB don?t greet then you obviously have far greater issues.......<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Get over it!

I have to back you up here! I waved at 843 cars on the way to work and only one waved back and then still had the cheek to show me the finger when he realised that he didnt know me and would never see me again.............you have no idea how much that hurt. Cry

The okes who dont greet are too obsessed with 2 seconds they may loose, by saying hello.

Shame.

Most MTB'rs I know recover by drinking beer after a work out. Thats why we greet, we may in up in the pub together.

Wave to people if you like people waving at you. Cycling is a fast growing sport so let's keep it friendly unlike some overseas countries where nobody is friendly.

I think this whole roadie versus mtb thing is bizarre. Its all bicycles.

Perhaps we could start insulting people with soft tails, bunch of bloody moffies. Or what about disc brakes, I heard that people that use disc brakes have no forearm muscles and live with their moms.

Worry about yourself, your own skills levels and fitness. Some people are so narrow minded that they can look through a keyhole with both eyes at the same time.
