Joe Low Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Turns out that the only eggs that are free-range are the ones in pullets... not the eggs found in ingredients. Ok, I thought a pullet was a type of chicken - so they're free-range as long as they're still in the chicken? Strawberries come in punnets maybe they do eggs in them down your way? Nicely freudian - pullets/punnets; & I bet it doesnt help your blood temp. to have it pointed out.

[/quote'] What do you base that statement on.? the fact that most processes involved in producing a "green" product, are more harmful to the environment than the normal product. Yes, then end product might be greener, but the nett value of the whole equation (procuring goods, transporting them, assembling, packing) far outweighs the streamlined processes of brown products

Top Gear is hardly objective journalism. Most of it manufactured to get the more interesting tv. But I hear FanD, when a green biscuit is flown from Russia it definately has a larger carbon footprint than a mass-produced environmentally wasteful cookie produced in boksburg.
