Kim T Killed in Car Accident

Port Elizabeth Cyclist Kim Trezbiatowski passed away in Hospital a short while ago after being hit by a car while out cycling earlier today.

 

Multiple SA and World Championship titles to her name she was well known and loved in PE cycling circles

 

I will miss you dearly my friend Rest in Peace

Dude, we heard the news. Makes you wonder whether its worth it. Leon Havenga knocked down a week ago, and now this... I'm thinking I won't hit the road again unless it is a huge bunch ride, or a sanctioned race with road closures. Or. MTB.

Hmm, didnt even know of her, but any fatality in any sport, at any time, in any place, is one too many, sorry to hear.

 

When did the accident happen, I didnt see anything in any newspaper or any blog / website until now.?

I wasn't going to add anything to this post, but after thinking about it, I thought it could be heartening to Kim's family that in the midst of their grief there are people who are thinking of them, empathising with them for their loss, and praying that they will find a way to take their place back in their shattered world, so that they can resume their life as quickly as possible.
