The next Yellow Saddle Fork Service Workshop will take place in Johannesburg on Saturday 20 June

Start Time: 14:00

Duration: 3 hours or 'till you're finished and ready.

Where: Berario

Where's that? Between Fairlands and Northcliff

How much? R475-00

This includes a spec sheet for your fork, all the oil necessary for servicing one fork, a demonstration, support, coffee, use of all the tools, consumables, grease etc etc.

Each student has his/her own workbench and tools and the course is tried and tested in Jhb and Ctn.

Fun gauranteed (especially for Marzocchi owners).

Bring your 'tou, Fox or Rox, yes, even Marz fork.

Five spaces left, Jules has already joined.

Hey Johan!

Any chance I can buy that modified socket from you? Or can I bring one for you to grid? I don't have a grinder, and the local agent thinks R375 will be a fair price for a socket. Yes, that's correct, R375 for ONE socket. Confused

Mine goes for R374-00.

However I'll grind one for you with pleasure. Bring it around. The best cooling agent when grinding hard steel is Windhoek Light.

Windhoek light is like having a wank and faking orgasm, but I'll bring a few anyway.

I know its pretty soon after the last one, but when is the next Cape Town leg of your fork tour? Was flat broke when the last one came around...

Howzit Hog? Can you believe we're still being slated for owning Marzocchi's. Remember the spare seal we found after we finished servicing our forks? Well no need to worry! it came from my 20mm bolt through axle! Thanks to Johan for working that one out!

I'd recommend this course to anyone who enjoys working on their bike/s themselves.

P.S loved the chirp about Windhoek Light!

Hog, I have a machinist working on some items for me right now. Do you want me to get you a socket and machine it down? It's just a bit neater than grinding. What size was it? 10mm?

You want me to come to Cape Town in this weather? I'm still reeling from the last trip. It poured and it was cold - an impossible combination!

I have not scheduled the next one yet. Drop me a mail (johanatyellowsaddledotseeodotzeda) with Cape Town Fork Workshop or similar in the heading and I'll put you on my nag list when I do have it scheduled.

Or come in visit us in Sunny Jhb, next workshop on Saturday afternoon 20 June.

I completely missed this! It's a long 12mm socket. If you can still organise, let me know. I'll sort you out with the money.
