I got too lazy some time back to go and buy anything else like Fast Fuel etc, and found these 80g Game sachets in the Spar. Makes a litre and costs about R5 - R6. When I get home I used to have a tuna sandwich, but since the price of tuna has rocketed I just have a peanut butter sandwich or two. Seems to work for me.

Seems to work for me.[/quote']  HaHa, yah, my favourite food. Nothing like warm fresh bread (choose your variety) and thick peanut butter washed down with a good coffee. As for suppliments, I seldom use any, water for training, running or riding, one bottle water and one weak mix game / energade / powerade whatever I find in the cupboard on the day for a 100 plus race. Never run out of energy yet.Â
