SwissVan Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 IMO Armstrong was also lucky yesterday, I think some of the riders he caught were only trying to inflict cumulative damage on the GC top 3, once they got close to the top of the climb they eased off (also the gradient) as they knew the chances of getting away on the descent was unlikely.
