I thought repeats of my Thor Hushovd TDF pic will help get us to 100...

Or is more a matter of the nr of posts?

@ MariusL - I have yet to meet D Lizzi's 'Dale to ascertain which is the prettiest. Hmmm... We have a contender!

:D

@BMC Fan - yeah, there are some groovy rides planned for December which can help you to get your form back, mentally and physically. It would be lekka to have a BMW, er I mean BMC in the mix again.

---

@ Dommisse & udxcob and Co - have a lekka training ride tomorrow. Wish I was there.

Well I think 'Dale's dale like to be called pretty.... especially with the deep sections on :D

My 'Dale does not enjoy being called pretty - she is shaxxy!

But HER name is "Manny"...

... I mostly refer to her as my Mistress ;)

She hurts me, then she loves me, then she gives me more pain, then I adore her.

We have a complicated thang going.

And my wifey understands. B)

Geez what a tough ride we had today, 130k's or so but the last 30 the wind just got stronger and stronger, it was great though, classic training ride

Dunno what happened to me yesterday. Went up Ou Helshoogte at a nice pace, HR normal, legs feeling great. From about the 60km mark on, no power in my legs and HR hovered in the mid to high 170's the whole time. Struggled on to about the 96km mark when I decided that enough is enough and 'phoned the wife to come and pick me up. Struggled on alone until she picked me up. Ended up with 108km for the day.

This morning it is difficult to walk, legs (quads) stiff and sore.

udxcob, Dommisse, Chris, Leon, Kobus. Thanks for the ride, sorry for keeping you up like that.

@wannabe - at least you got a ride in....

MY DC team ride was planned for today and look at what had transpired. Saw the cold front coming in last night already while I was in K/River.

Woke up with alarm at 5am, saw I had an SMS. Was MariusL saying we gonna call the ride off because of the rain. Was still clear skies here when I had a peek out the bedroom window - he said quote 'it was raining horses and cows' .

An hour later it was pouring down here. Still is on and off. Feel sorry for the WP TT okes. Not great weather for man and machine.

Looks like a dismal day for a ride - looks like I need to dig the trainer out and hop on the bike. I prefer the road to the trainer

Yeah, 20 posts per page.... doesn't matter on images or length of post.

for the WP TT , the rain stayed away for most of the day. on some parts of the course it was freezing but on others it was weather for t shirts. the elites caught some rain and hail at their turn around point. the early starts had almost perfect weather , cool and not a breath of wind.

Pencil in your diary on Sunday 20th November for a group ride? Hopefully, no hail stones forecasted!

It will be a return-from-Europe ride for me and a tapering ride for those brave ones who entered the DC.

06:00 from Medi-Clinic, Durbanville to Somerset West via Kuils River / Blackheath and back via Stellenbosch and Bottelary Rd, 90 kms, 27 km/h avg or medium pace.

SEND A NOTE HERE IF YOU WANNA COME ALONG!
