Chris looks like a totally different person, he has lost 22kg's he says.

I dropped off a bicycling mag for him to read.

Chris says he just wants to get well now.

He says he will probably get his phone back today and will try get onto the hub.

Thanks guys for all your well wishes and thoughts, Chris really needed it and he has pulled through.....

Stay strong Chris

Phew!

Sorry to change the subject but I have just come from visiting Chris, he is doing well and the doctor is coming off the drip today, his arm is still in the steel pin contraption and he says if the infection is gone then they willoperate and insert pins.

Just be cool, Chris is talking slowly and moving even slower, its going to be a long road to recovery, i think he may ride again in the new year (he is very keen to ride and is already in contact with insurance to replace his bike)

Okay.

Thanx, Udxcob.

Let's pray his arm recovers fully and that the wonders of modern medical science do its thang!

True dat!

It's great news though that he wants to get back on the bike again! He's definitely a fighter!

Tiny K & myself are still undecided about our start time to Sunday's Argus route training ride.

05h30 or later.

In any event, if you're interested, let me know.

Having just returned from Europe with time away from my carbon horse, I am prepared to cry for my Mama on Sunday up Smitswinkel Pass.
