Yup, you missed out on a stunner. Bit nippy in the beginning, but once the sun was up proper, it was perfect weather for cycling.

Makes me even more amped to get back out on the bike Been a long 7 months off it!

^{hey roadies.. I did my 1st proper off-road ride yesterday. From home to Majik Forest over to Nitida through Hillcrest and back home. About 50 km's. Really enjoyed the dirt experience. I must say the technical skill required for off-road is very different to road riding.}

I am working on several weekends during April & May.

So, unless I place a training ride invite here, I am training on weekday mornings only.

BASE TRAINING RIDE ON SATURDAY 28 APRIL

 

Paarl - du Toitskloof Pass - Bainskloof Pass - Wellington

121 km

1800 m+ ascent

23 - 25 km/h avg.

DQ for any big blade moves.

 

Wheels roll at 06h30 from Paarl Mall parking lot.

 

Bring food and tech spares as there is merely a tuck shop along the way.

Bring arm warmers and/or gilet as it can be chilly in the early AM shadow of the Drakenstein Mountains.

Welcome to Ct man! Only saw now that you changed location. A lot of Puncheur's rides will be easy enough for you to do. Dommisse has other ideas but I am sure you will get up to speed soon.
