Got caught in the rain this morning.

I know it doesn't look like it, but it was wet, ok

Those of us with day jobs rolled in sunshine early this morning

You can see Burger is near, lots of riders out there!

Yeah...

I rolled a 55er in perfect conditions this AM.

My garden is smiling though.

I am missing out the last few days. I am struck down with hayfever and now got antibiotics from the doc... not sure about this weekend anymore

So got more precise details regarding the DC team looking for another rider:

Group is starting at 06:21am. The pace that they would like to do is approximately 28km/hr, so guessing with fueling stops approximately 7.5-8 hours in the saddle.

Entry and kit are already paid for, the lucky person only has to pay for the accommodation in Barrydale and of course food.

If this is something you may be interested in, drop me a PM and I'll put you in touch with the team.

Thanks muchly and have a lekker windy day here in Cape Town! :)

This was my team actually, we started with only 6 riders...I was close to tapping out at 60km when I got sick, but the team nursed me back to finish at 8:04. It was a tough day out.

Hi All

New to Durbanville area and looking for LSD road rides on the weekend. Been of the bike for about 6 months so slow and unfit. Anyone that can give some direction starting times, routes to ride, roads to avoid etc. Need to start training for Argus 2014.

Thanks!

Won't be too much happening on Saturday due to the Burger on Sunday, but have a look at the New Balance Multisport Club. They do rides that might be exactly what you are looking for!

Just keep an eye on the thread here, there will be plenty rides posted during the holidays. Fortunately there aren't too many roads out here that aren't ride able!

Caution obviously will need to be taken if you do venture out by yourself.

Getting there, but should be at the start line Sunday! Just hope the antibiotics won't affect me on raceday.

No.. I missed the entries.. Guess it'll just be a training ride for me on Sunday.

Actually, come to think of it, I'm working Sunday anyway
