I don't wanna kill myself but it would be lekker to have company - what time do you leave? I will be riding through to you so it's gonna be darn early!

I'll be leaving at 6am - corner of Durban/Old Oak rd (but I'll confirm with you if I do this ride, or the half marathon in Constantia)

You guys not doing the Westcoast Express this weekend.

Nope, not me either... 80km flat kilometers with a bunch of wheel suckers, not my ideal way of spending a Sunday morning. I'm rather gona head to the hills for a good 4 hour ride...

I intend to use it as high intensity training. :P

Airbender, you start in group behind me, right? See if you can catch me (should not be too difficult :D )

I'm in J bunch...

I am wishing to catch my top form on the day! :D

If I see any Rustenburg Club jersey dude or soft yellow jersey on my way, then cool!

Let's go and do a 80km warm-up ride and then hit the hills!

What about cycling to the race on Sunday (25km from Durbanvale, Tiekies, Plattekloof, Blouberg, R27) doing the race 85km and cycling back 25km. Total 130km. If you want more with climbs - back via Plattekloof, left on Conters (instead of straight over Tiekies), Malans down and back up and then back over Tiekies and home. Should then be 150km+ in total!

Would be nice to join the Durbanville roadies since I live in Durbanville!

I'm in G, so unless they group the bunches together to make them bigger (G+H and I+J), or I'm having an extremely bad day, I'd say you have your work cut out for you. :D

Hi Air,

Watch out for me - also in J group - we can team up and have a nice ride!
