Destroyed by an inattentive motorist yesterday. 1991 DuToit in 653.Bike was complete except for its new paint job, which was scheduled for January. I had also just finished making leather bar tape, which I had installed. Loved this bike. Going to miss her.Here she is before the accident, and before I installed the leather. Dammit! Glad you're OK ... but I know I'd be destroyed if my old Le Turbo left this life. They could take my other bikes, but not her. Chro Mo Posted November 28, 2012 Share He does not reply to emails etc at the best of times, and i don't think he undertakes repairs anymore.we corresponded a bit over the bikes origins, but he has since gone OTG. Maybe the relaunch of the LeJeune brand has altered his focus. I'll hang onto her for a while yet, so no rush. The bikes been around for 20+ years, no harm in a while longer. Duncan no longer works for him and is working for Marks Bicycle Workshop in Belville. If you want a really interesting chat go speak to Duncan, he knows everything there is to know about the frame building business in SA and is a true legend of the industry.
